YOUTH/PARENTS
The
Minnesota Education Now and Babies Later (ENABL)
campaign had two primary objectives: 1) To get 12-15 year olds to postpone
sexual involvement. 2) to encourage
parents to talk to their kids about sex. The campaign included television
and radio spots, billboards and posters. It was a cohesive initiative
that supported ongoing grassroots efforts including an educational curriculum
implemented in youth centers across the state.

Blue Moon
was selected to join a partnership that included public relations firm
Tunheim Santrizos and housing advocacy organization Minnesota Housing
Partnership to design a media campaign that addresses the housing crisis
in Minnesota. Based on the research from several national studies and
the communications plan authored by Tunheim Santizos, Blue Moon assembled
a creative team and art directed the collateral material for the media
campaign.
The
work included name and logo development, radio spots, billboards, transit
signs, newspaper ads, press kits, a CD-ROM, and an eight-page color brochure.
Governor Jesse Ventura even got into the act by offering to narrate one
of the radio spots. Housing Minnesota is an alliance of over thirty housing
advocacy organizations working hard to support and promote affordable
housing in Minnesota.
